How to Add My Amazon Account, Store, and Marketplace

This document describes how individuals can add multiple marketplaces - and how agencies and/or freelancers can add additional clients.

There are three steps to add your Amazon store to Ad Badger.

We ensure that security is maintained throughout the 3-step process.

Step One: Connecting Your Amazon Account

Connect an Amazon Account. This is the account you use to log into the Amazon Advertising Marketplace to access your store(s). To add your account, click on the button "Link Seller Account" and follow the steps.

  • Agencies: If you use multiple seller accounts to access clients, you can add all of them here.

Once your account is added, you can name it whatever you want (this will not change the name of the account in Amazon). You will also see listed: the region that the Amazon account is associated with, the number of stores connected to Ad Badger out of the total number of stores associated with the account, the last time we checked for new stores in the account, and any actions available.

Step Two: Connecting Your Store

Next up is to connect the store(s) linked to your Amazon Account. You can do this by clicking on the yellow "Add Store" button.

Once your store is added, you can name it whatever you want (this will not change the name of the store in Amazon). You will also see listed: the Seller Account that the store belongs to, the number of marketplaces connected to Ad Badger out of the total number of stores associated with the account, and any actions available.

Step Three: Connecting Your Store's Marketplace

This is the most important step!

It's time to connect your store's marketplace profile. The Marketplace contains the data from Amazon that Ad Badger syncs with - so if you do not sync a marketplace, you will not see any data inside of Ad Badger.

To connect your marketplace, click on "Add Marketplace" and follow the steps.

Once your marketplace is added, you will see it listed along with the following: the flag of the country associated with the marketplace, the last time this marketplace data was synced with Ad Badger, and any available actions.

That's it! You should be connected now.

Note: It may take several hours to fully sync your marketplace for the first time depending on the size of the marketplace.
